The Challenger Learning Center has acquired a test nose cone by donation from the Paducah chapter of the Civil Air Patrol. The nose cone will be displayed outside the center and we are holding a contest to give it a name! Read the long description for more information. You must enter a name and then in the comments tell why you want that name and give the information of your school and teacher.
The Challenger Learning Center at Paducah is a space science education center that provides STEM educational opportunities for people of all ages. We are located on the campus of West Kentucky Community and Technical College.

It's silver and looks like only two people could fit in it. So, I named it after the second planet from the sun.

The phoenix is a mythological bird which lives a long time and is reborn. The nose cone is a historical piece of space history which has been around a long time and is reborn as a beautiful display. Sharpe Elementary School- Mrs. McClard
